CHARLES H. YEAGER, head of the firm of L. H. Yeager & Co., dealers in crockery and chinaware, was born in Allentown, Pa., in 1870, a son of Lesher H. and Tillie (Sheldon) Yeager. He attended the public schools and Media Preparatory School, at Media, Pa. Immediately following his graduation, he became associated with the L. H. Yeager Co., of which his father was the founder, in 1889, and served in various capacities continuously until 1915, when he was elected president and chairman of the directorate. Mr. Yeager is a public-spirited citizen, and has been very active in the social, religious and civic life of the community. He is known for his squareness and uprightness in business methods and ranks high as a man of affairs. He is an extensive real estate operator and is indirectly identified with other local interests. He was a former director of the public schools and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He is also a director of the Citizens Deposit and Trust Company and the Ridge Avenue Deposit Bank.
